It's not exceptional for these companies to lie about their products, bankrupt naive investors through stock swindles, and pitch themselves to investors as a way for capital to win the class war.

*None of this means that AI companies are good*, it just means that they are not *exceptional*. And because they aren't exceptional, the same dynamics that govern other technologies apply to AI companies' products.
