the most expensive part ain't the air hoses [3] or even air filtering system [4] but getting a decent-quality compressor, cuz I certainly wouldn't hook up to a construction site compressor because "technical grade air" is not "medical grade" and you certainly don't want oil and grease vapours or carbon dioxide if not carbon monoxide in your lungs.
It's also the reason why medical-grade oxygen is 100x tech. grade.
