kinda but moreso like the zeitgeist in social networking rn is all twitter and what comes after twitter. mastodon is a twitter clone, bluesky is a twitter clone, nostr is used like a twitter clone, etc etc etc. everyone scrambling to replace twitter instead of just letting it die or moving on. when are we going to see something truly *new* and *better*? something paradigm shifting? i mean heck, even "a facebook clone done right" would probably be fine if it actually had feature parity
