Government spending creates money and its consequence is exactly the same as a bank, extending a loan to a business. It furnishes an economic participant with the funds to buy what it needs.
The difference is the government has a zero interest infinite credit line by law with the central bank. There’s no obligation to pay it back because those funds are the monetary base.
Banks not only expect you to pay it all back, but they also extract a tribute
