I'd agree if you didn't say "never" and "no matter how long" If someone is talking to you on pedi for years and you dont go for it just because of that - I do think thats paranoia. And I say that having been that way myself. There will always be a chance someone will dox you someday but thats true no matter where you meet them, and Im firmly against "irl chance meetings" being the only way you can ever trust someone. I've met up with paraphiles/MAPs who we met online, and i've seen many others do it. You just need to be careful.
