Who the fuck likes private insurance?
I pay almost $800 a month for private insurance for myself and my spouse. A trip to the ER still costs us $400 just to get in the door. This doesn't touch the facility fees and the individuals doctors who'll need to be paid for whatever we're there for. Usually in the area of $500 - $1000.
We frequent the ER about 4 times a year.
You want me to believe that subsidized government insurance would cost us more than that?
