Yeah, Bazzite was certainly a novel experience. Not only have I not used any Fedora or RPM-based distro before, I hadn't really dealt with Flatpaks and AppImages and all the modern containerized formats that are required on an Atomic base system.
I'm getting a decent sense for how to use all those layers of the stack tho, so it's been fun to play around with and learn.
KDE Plasma seems to give me all the desktop and window manager UI customization I want, not sure what else I'd get out of any of the "more customizable" distros from a theming perspective. Garuda does sound nifty overall, if you're a cool Arch kid ;)
At the end of the day, what you come to learn is that all Linux distros are more alike than different, and they're mostly just tweaking some settings around the edges with defaults you can set yourself anyway.
