so, in case anyone is wondering what is behind the bitcoin pullback to 82k, it's because trump picked Warsh, a hawkish (anti-QE) guy. it also triggered a pullback from PMs as well.
the anti-inflationary narrative around bitcoin remains in play, it seems, at least that's how the fiat financial gamblers are seeing it.
it's strange, and people are confused because previously trump was hostile to the previous chairman's hawkish angle, so what's going on? it must be something other than his preferred monetary policy of tight credit. maybe the trump crowd actually want to flush some trash out of the market.
who knows, that's the thing about trump. he makes contrtarian calls all the time. i think that a lot of left-leaning people who irritate the shit out of me here on nostr don't get it about trump that he's not aligned to the republican party, and they are kinda pissed, and that's also why they were supporting the biden coup.
i'm pretty sure, that the long arc trump's intention is to pump his bags, and he has a fair bit tied up in shitcoins and bitcoin. so there must be an angle about to appear here. i've not been following this so closely, because this shit is boring and tedious, but when it dips my fiat denominated spending power like this i am watching a bit closer.
probably the thing is, hawkish fed, plus some policy moves that are not yet public or still in planning likely will be changing the picture in ways that are unexpected.
