well, in countries that do control their own banks, like Norway does, the bank is directly answerable to the Storting, which is democratically elected. I don't think capitalism is so much a huge issue as much as republicanism is. Countries that have parliamentary governments are less corrupt. I think we're finding the "great experiment" of republicanism is a complete failure
