Seems like police in Cincinnati conducted an operation worthy of a major summit protest to arrest several dozen people, and tow and/or destroy even more cars while breaking up a sideshow earlier this weekend.
Police abolitionists (and even reformers, really) should give a shit about the repression of car show culture because at the end of the day, it's not the cars (love em, hate em, or in between) - it's about the culture. It's about police doing the bidding of city elites to suppress regular folks who dare to use public space in different and creative ways - while mega corps get a free pass to use that space however tf they want no matter how destructive.
