If you keep running with oligarchy, you leave the only people capable of bringing it down... Um ...the fascists. It's easier for them than anyone else.

I'm not seeing the Nazi prevention in this election. Just style variances. It's not really holding much at bay. It's sort of another wasted election on the road to inevitability. Everything is running on such a damaged metric, expecting genuine change feels like hubris.
