I don't feel like experimenting too much.
It makes you wonder why it doesn't work. You have to consider sabotage, because people are moving away from Apple and Wiindows' OS. How difficult would it be to install something on the network of a company like this to make all attempts of installing Linux Mint a failure? At least for this model. They don't know the cause and Linux Mint has no support desk.
