I chose this particular example because it was goods-productive. But in any case I'm going to try to restate parts of this in terms of older theories (not because i think it should be restated, but because this helps to differentiate it and it's probably the only way I can approach understanding it.)

The "Frostian bargain" part means life-paths that are presented as individual choices but are really inherent in society, I think.
