As I have elaborated on a previous post quoted below, it is an advisory guideline for best practices which our moderation team encourage that our members consider when using the instance. You aren't in trouble at all, just wanted to inform you of the culture we are looking to cultivate here.

Less of a rule so much as it is an advisory from the moderation team on best practices to follow while staying here. We won't censor the speech or expression of our members, but likewise ask that you consider how using slurs will negatively impact the reputation of the instance and how that can make people feel less inclined to join or interact with us.
