This is great on so many levels, for both music and podcasts.

Public boosts and comments that are displayed across apps.

🎸 Boosters get the spotlight they deserve, unless they choose to keep them private.

🎸 Popular tracks, releases, and podcasts are easier to discover because appreciation is no longer spread thin across multiple apps. That gives it much greater impact.

🎸 New apps can now compete more easily with established ones. Previously, the app with the most social proof was more likely to get promoted and linked to. That meant a newer app could be better, but still struggle to get the attention it deserved.

With shared interactions across apps, the playing field becomes much more level. This will hopefully encourage even more developers to bring new apps to the ecosystem.
