Tomorrow our new CTO starts and his pitch was that his experiments with AI have increased his productivity and he can do the same for our team.

My expectation is that we’ll get more and bigger PRs that get approved with less attention leading to increased escaped defects, a general decrease in understanding of the code and increased thrashing.

I appreciate your very eloquently explanation of that in terms of work queues.
