Watching from here, it doesn't look like an election will have much impact on his term length. US law clearly doesn't apply to Trump.
He might be removed sooner, if he pisses off the wrong people. 🙏 Or this might be a very long show with a very poor director. 🎬
There are ways to avoid holding an election, or to delay it, and Project 2025 has hinted at clinging on by any means. But even if he held one (and lost), I doubt he'll leave quietly.
