I don’t see how it isn’t. Either a commodity is fungible or it isn’t. Bitcoin having a “fungible side chain” does not make it fungible. It literally highlights the lack of fungibility of Bitcoin. People in Monero demand fungibility. Bitcoiners refuse to offer it, and openly argue against its basic need for a currency. So many people are leaving, and thus maximalists ironically refute themselves.
