Random thought I want to offload from my brain: I pay $120 a year to store a bunch of pics and videos i probably don't want to watch anyways, what are my alternative options to ensure i dont lose these keepsakes that i don't want to part with but also don't want to pay thousands of dollars over a lifetime....i think i already paid about 360-600 dollars so far and looked at them a few times. would this be the same cost to just use a nostr service? cant i get a better cost? or just simply invest in a harddrive which i am afraid that would corrupt the data anyways? all these digital keepsakes are annoying to maintain, and costly. i used to have a junk jewelry box that was a one time fee of 10 bucks and stored in my closet....
i think having a nostr keepsake offer would be interesting idea to keep at the back of your brain if not already considered
