I know I can probably just go on youtube and find some random dude but I'm here on Mastodon with all you computer boffins and hackers and programmers and such, I have an old Acer laptop, should I put Linux on it, how hard is it to do and get set up for music making, is it worth it, how long does it take and is it going to be hard for me to do? Consider me utterly dim on the subject, like imagine you're talking to someone who can't use a TV remote. (I'm not that dim, but consider me as such).
