It’s hard to convey how unserious these people are. Their priority is to present the *appearance* of serious government leaders doing serious war things, like they’ve seen on the teevee before, aping the sorts of photographs they’ve seen of Obama doing something similar in the actual White House situation room.
But because they don’t really understand why, or care about why, people do the things they do, Trump and his team are broadcasting photos of a JWICS screen in an obviously unsecured area in a room full of people with devices capable of (or that can be exploited for) electronic espionage.
