I'll reserve judgement on this until the Autumn budget (but many will not, I know);
Our democracy now just seems to have 3 Tory parties:
The Conservatives who are moving ever rightwards into territory occupied by the far right;
The Lib Dems, looking a lot like One Nation Tories, with a record of coalition with the 'real' Tories.
And Blue Labour (as they've been called) who may look more competent & ethical but are running a Tory economic scheme.
And so democratic choice has died?
