Why does this not apply to the regathering of Jews in America from Russia, Germany, and all over? Just because the state is called Israel, that's why you think that's the land for Jews?

And again, this was written a very long time ago and there's been plenty of time for someone to read this and make it happen instead of let it happen.

Not to mention there's another interpretation that the people of Israel are gathered in Christ now. Not an actual physical location, but a collection through faith.
