Absolutely agree. I used to work for a company that would send me to work on location all over the country, average commute 2 hours a day, worst one 4 hours. At least they were flexible about working from home, but not all clients were.
I have been working from home since I started my own business 17 years ago . I don't think I would be able to work in an office any more (and not just because of the commute!).
