Time for another hiking and native plant thread: this time another excursion to Mt Baker/Komo Kulshan, in Washington's North Cascades, just south of the Canadian border. I did this trip last year but came back to explore more. Here's the bridge just after the trailhead, and the old growth hemlock forest that leads away up the mountain. It's hard to capture in photos how huge these trees are-- close to 200 ft (60 meters). THREAD
