it’s not much different that a float which is ice cream, usually vanilla, and some kind of soda pop like root beer, but you can do it with 7 up or grape (a purple cow) or orange (an orange cow). It does thicken a bit, but is creamy and delicious. Just milk though seems very 1950’s weird. But they thought various items molded in gelatin was the height of sophistication in the 1950’s too.
