Very interesting. I listened to a podcast recently where (i think) an OBGYN was talking about she sees "gertiatric pregnancies" all the time and had almost never run across a case of that. Yes, she said, your chances at a certain age can double. But the risk was only actually 1-2% in the first place. So late age pregnancies get this awful rap but even then the odds of some debilitating disease as a natural complication are incredibly low.
