Tough. Experience needed. Internships lead to positions. Willingness to work or grind out a "window period" is good but a lot of people take advantage of this and then never hire after the probation period ends.
Give them some space to figure out, I mean even if they graduated in a specific field, they might be sick of it after 4 years studying it and may want to do something adjacent just to recalibrate their interests.
I.e. I did a BBA and then instead of working corporate straight away I started a small side hustle/project until I was really (experience) to apply for the bigger gigs
