I've had multiple people scoff at me when I say I change oil at 4k miles. I cannot be convinced it's the single most important factor in the longevity of these motors. Turbos cook that stuff so much faster than a NA. I also sit at idle for about 20-30 seconds before I shut it off 99% of the time to cool em down. Mines a 2011 with the first gen 3.5 and she's been fantastic. Still factory turbos. I've replaced 2 throttle bodies, a water pump, a flex plate, a few O2 sensors and I swap the plugs about every 18 months. I couldn't be happier with a truck.
