As for Farage, I despise him, and ser through his grifting, but he did better on July 7th than the Lib Dems (on vote share & actual votes) and many of my neighbours find him persuasive. Unless their genuine grievances over health, social care, housing & living standards are met, he will start to turn those votes into seats, as voters in left behind areas like mine, abandon austerity donor controlled monetarist Labour just like they abandoned the Tories.
