The dude seemed to be out of it, but was taking cues from folks on when to stand and when to sit and when to sing and was definitely getting into the music.
Everything was fine until 20 minutes in when 4 cops showed up and told him he wasn’t welcome and he took his dog and followed them out. It was a pretty packed service so soon after he left some folks came and took his place next to me.
The homily was pretty standard stuff about welcoming everyone & giving everyone a seat at the table.
