Anyway, this year there was a guy at the end of our pew having a difficult time. I ended up sitting next to him, as he was definitely in a bad state. He was shouting a bunch and getting into it with the church staff.

The service started and the woman in front of me turned around and offered him a program. The guy seemed stoked by that small act of kindness and calmed down, though was still a bit tweaked out. He had cool little dog with him, and the dog ended up falling asleep on my foot.
