Didn’t mean to misdirect you, this tool is great for sewage or silt/organic built up. With that much earth in the pipe you are most likely right in there’s a significant breach. I looks like a dig out. 🥴
For the repair or any future install, perforated pipe should have fabric covering it, either its own sleeve or weed blocking garden fabric works great, then a layer of pea stone before burying with earth. Good luck on a bad situation my friend.
