389ds is getting ready to migrate users from BerkeleyDB to LMDB https://www.port389.org/docs/389ds/releases/release-2-1-3.html
At this point, why does that project even exist? All of their essential code was written by the OpenLDAP Project: libldap, liblber, liblmdb. What value do they bring to the open source community?
