I think the uncertainty with tariffs - “are they really in effect tomorrow? Will he really reinstate them in a month?” will be enough to cause supply chain shocks themselves.

Also sweeps of undocumented people that ensnare legal residents and citizens, disruptions to previously reliable funding, etc. will mess shit up.
