After a bewildering and mutually panicked several moments it becomes clear that "healing you" actually means that they have accidentally partially fused into your body and are now doing most things that a lot of your internal organs and spine should do. Quite well, better even than yours! Also they don't have a name that can be pronounced by humans, but they're quite happy to be called Font. It just sounds and/or feels nice to them.
After further mutual distress Font tells you they can sort of... Grow out of you, but it will take a couple of weeks, and they're really very terribly sorry and so very embarrassed.
