Until you can stop a nuclear reaction, you have absolutely no business starting one. The arrogance and hubris of science is something that rarely gets talked about, but some scientists are the cause of much of the damage that has been inflicted on our planet.
Generally speaking it is the paternalistic approach to science that I hate.
