history repeats itself at microsoft. they did force migrate people when they killed off msn/wl messenger and merged it with skype. prob same will happen with teams.

signal could be an alternative for me if it had chat a good chat synchronization across devices and platforms. and mostly if it would stop bothering me with modals for enabling notifications and full access to contact list. atm they still don't respect my choices and play the "we nag you until you surrender" game.
