As Labour MPs respond to the rise in polling for Reform UK with a group to 'examine' its policies, the only real conclusion that should be drawn is:
To beat Reform UK any party (not just Labour) needs to offer an alternative that actually improves directly people's lives. not just reheated or less-extreme versions of the far right playbook.
The latter, as has been said before, just prompts voters to support the real Right not the pretenders or those adopting that stance latterly!
