I like manga where step siblings are in love because that element is usually the only potentially taboo part of the relationship. If I ignore that it’s pretty wholesome and they’re not blood.
Even better though are childhood betrothals that the family wants to end but they refuse. I love the main relationship in Ai Yori Aoshi but find the forced harem part annoying.
