Some people value tiny spoons in a tiny spoon display. I’ve learned a lot about logic, rust, JavaScript, Linux network administration, and nostr just by vibe coding stuff I wish existed but didn’t. I don’t think it’s necessarily “worth it” if you think of AI as primarily generating memes, but if it gets more efficient as all things seem to do… I was against AI for a while for a lot of reasons but I’ve also learned a lot about gardening from it. I think it has its value. I think trying to value it based on 1990s or 2010 values, or more to your point, Christian values, it seems like a lot of waste for very little actual product. But I think the same could be said about the wright brothers first “airplane”
