I can also do it manually, because with HDR that's at least standardized, so I don't even need to fiddle with ddc.

Just wished there is something that could reduce the brightness automatically depending on time or something if no light sensor is available.

But it's also a laptop so a sensor should be somewhere, it's probably just not wired up.
