Yeah, it’s confusing for mere humans like us.
So far, the bottom-line(s) seem(s) to be:
- if your BTC was KYC’d, you’re screwed.
- If the BTC you received was KYC’d, you’re screwed.
- there are great tools to improve BTC privacy, but it’s highly impractical (so far. Hope this improves)
In the end,
It’s just matter of being more mindful when purchasing / spending BTC.
For now,
If I’m really concerned about privacy, I’d stick Monero. I don’t have to do any special setup.
For everything else, BTC .
