Ukraine cut off Druzhba pipeline that supplies Hungary, claimed Russians sabotaged it.
Hungary asks to send inspectors (reasonable), Ukraine declines.
Ergo, Ukraine is full of shit
That being established, the reasons why the Ukrainians would want to destroy Turkstream are the same as destroying Nordstream: to remove Russian leverage over the region.
That leverage just happens to be cheap abundant gas at a time when Europe is in an energy crisis.
Think about it for a while...
