An ex of mine considered herself to be among the "high IQ" people and was a member of Mensa International.
I once accompanied her during a gathering of these folks. Friendly people in general but if you're somewhat street smart and you except to be surrounded by geniuses you'll be disappointed. Some of them didn't really talk about much else then IQ and being super smart. Was wise enough to evade that crowd all weekend. Can't recommend.
