yes the slope is the clue.

that is a normal fault. the left side has moved downward relative to the right.

if that later goes under compression, it could slide back up and over the part on the right and become a reverse fault

but you would not see a reverse fault moving up with the strike (slope) being tilted the other way. i e. you in this case wouldn't see the right side moving up. for the right side to move up under compression it would have to be tilted over the other way or at least nearly vertical
