I see that some are already rushing to blame Spain's 'reliance on renewable/sustainable energy for the massive 'oscillation' that has been identified as causing the widespread power outage today.
The system, with relatively few links to the European grid via France, was unable to cope, it is claimed, with a large (weather related?) shift in energy use.
You can be the nuclear power lobby will be now pushing the line they can keep the lights on...
