My eyes fell on a TV series currently airing called “Owners of the Land”, which portrays what happened during the years of genocide. I feel two conflicting emotions.
The first’s that am upset that this suffering’s reduced to a Tv series that doesn’t even capture half the horror of what truly happened
That I, along with 2M ppl, lived through a crushing #genocide only for it to become content shown on screens in the end. The real heroes are us—the survivors of the genocide,not the actors
