Very interesting. I am glad you posted this, especially these days. What I found enlightening is

So much of our time can be filtered through the sieve of those words! Sadly, as LBJ said it a long time ago:

> "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

It doesn't apply just to whites, but whatever groups we divide ourselves into. I think articles like yours really help.
