Loving people is complicated.
Wouldn't it be nice if all of our friends & family were never, ever difficult in any kind of way? (I'm actually not sure that it would be)
Since that's not how it works, though...I guess the next best thing is "figure it out". I let plenty of stuff slide off my back, but when I realize that I am putting bubble wrap around someone so that their sharp edges don't bump into me, maybe that deserves some attention.
